Fall Season Update: CTV Nearly Doubles Global in Primetime
For Immediate Release (November 6, 2008): - CTV delivers 92% more viewers than Global - - CTV makes gains in Toronto/Vancouver and with younger viewers - Toronto, ON (November 6, 2008) - Six weeks into the Fall television season, CTV continues to distance itself from its nearest competitor. An updated analysis of the Fall television season, which began Sept. 22, verifies that CTV now delivers nearly twice as many viewers than Global in primetime among total viewers, up dramatically since Fall 2007. In a season that has seen slight declines in both total viewing and conventional viewing in Canada, data from BBM Nielsen Media Research confirms that CTV continues to hold its own - making gains in Canada's two largest metered markets and with younger viewers -while its competition experiences double-digit erosion. ** Media Note **- Download photos for CTV series at www.CTVmedia.ca.
