Toronto, ON (September 2, 2008) - CTV is rolling out the red carpet for the Toronto International Film Festival, giving Canadians unprecedented coverage of everything TIFF-related. From the must-see films and the hottest red carpets to the hippest parties and the latest gossip, CTV is Canada's #1 choice for extensive, exclusive TIFF coverage.

eTalk - weeknights at 7 p.m. ET

eTalk is TIFF central every night at 7 p.m. ET beginning Thursday, September 4, blanketing Yorkville with multiple celebrity lounges and shooting locations, and boasting exclusive interviews with the most sought-after stars. eTalk also presents Live at eTalk with co-hosts Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim, who will dish with the hottest stars attending TIFF, live from eTalk's streetfront studios at CTV's landmark Queen and John St. headquarters, in the heart of Toronto's entertainment district. These Live at eTalk segments will be broadcast at a later date. eTalk has also scored exclusive access to some of the biggest parties at TIFF, including backstage at the ONE X ONE Gala hosted by Matt Damon and behind the scenes at Canada's Walk of Fame. Canada AM - weekdays, 6 to 9 a.m. ET

Canada AM, the country's #1 morning show, will have more TIFF coverage and exclusive interviews than ever before. Big names such as Kate Hudson, Matt Damon, Colin Firth and Mark Ruffalo will be part of Canada AM's extensive coverage, and on September 8, the morning show will broadcast live from the Four Seasons Hotel in Yorkville, the heart of the Festival. Seamus O'Regan, co-host of Canada AM, is also the Master of Ceremonies for the high-profile ONE X ONE Gala, hosted by Matt Damon in support of fighting child poverty, for the third consecutive year.

CTV's national and local newscasts will broadcast ongoing TIFF news coverage, with reports on the biggest names and breaking stories throughout the whole Festival.

CTV Evening News - nightly at 6 p.m. ET

Toronto's #1 newscast, CTV Evening News, will explore TIFF by honouring the life of co-founder Dusty Cohl, who passed away last winter, as well as interviewing movie critics about the must-see films, dishing with limousine drivers about the celebs they're shuttling around the city and reporting on where the stars are eating. Additionally, CTV Toronto will encourage Festival fans to send in photos and video they've shot while attending TIFF to their website, Toronto.ctv.ca. Finally, entertainment reporter Andria Case will be on the scene every night at 6 p.m. ET, delivering live TIFF coverage and celebrity interviews with the stars as they walk the red carpet throughout the Festival.

CTV Newsnet

CTV Newsnet will deliver ongoing extensive TIFF coverage, with reports from the red carpet and key interviews from celebrities, TIFF organizers and top film critics throughout the Festival.

CP24

CP24, Toronto's breaking news channel, will be live on the red carpet every evening, delivering wall-to-wall coverage of TIFF, including breaking news reports and celebrity interviews.
