Viva La Vida! Thursday, July 31 is Coldplay Day on CTV

Shortly before they hit the stage at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto for their second consecutive sold-out concert tomorrow night, CTV welcomes Coldplay's Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland to its Queen Street studios for two live interviews. The live appearances are the highlight of more than three hours of Coldplay programming on CTV and three specialty channels tomorrow, including MuchMusic, MuchMoreMusic, and Star!

Martin and Buckland first visit eTalk's storefront studios at 4 p.m. for a live, 45-minute interview in front of a live audience with hosts Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim. The interview will be quickly turned into the half-hour eTalk special Coldplay: Live at eTalk, airing Thursday, July 31 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV and at 8:30 p.m. ET on Star!

The Coldplay duo then drop by Much HQ for an interview with VJ Leah Miller on MuchOnDemand, airing live on Thursday, July 31 at 5 p.m. ET. Fans are once again at the centre of the action in the live audience and from home by asking questions via text, phone, and e-mail. To get audiences warmed up, MuchMusic airs Spotlight: Coldplay just before the live appearance at 4:30 p.m. ET.
