Six-time Emmy-nominated actor Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) joins the all-American Chris Klein (Election, American Pie) in Welcome to the Captain, a rollicking sitcom about a wildly eclectic group of people whose lives are intertwined through the place they all call home, a fabled Hollywood apartment building, El Capitan, which they've dubbed "The Captain."

Nip/Tuck Slices into CTV's Primetime Schedule, Feb. 3

Double breast implants, a nude photo shoot and roles in a Hollywood medical drama...Nip/Tuck returns to CTV, more outrageous than ever, immediately following Super Bowl XXLII on Sunday, Feb. 3 (approximately 10:15 ET and west of Ontario at 10 p.m.; visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times). The critically-acclaimed drama then moves into its regular Fridays at 10 p.m. ET time-slot beginning Feb. 8.

It's Super Sunday on CTV with Super Bowl XLII

Toronto, ON (January 30, 2008) - This Sunday will mark the first Super Bowl on CTV - and the network has the biggest sporting event of the year covered from all angles in the days leading up to the big game. Bombs, Battles and Betrayal: Jericho Explodes Onto CTV's Primetime Schedule, Feb. 12

Toronto, ON (January 29, 2008) - Following one of the most unprecedented and impassioned displays of fan support for a television series, the post-apocalyptic drama Jericho is back - and on CTV. The cult hit favourite returns for a second season and joins CTV's primetime schedule beginning Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 10 p.m. ET, following a new episode of American Idol (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times). Jericho also debuts on SPACE on Saturday, February 16 at 8 p.m. ET.

CTV Series Flashpoint Picked Up by CBS for U.S. Broadcast

Los Angeles, CA (January 29, 2008) - A new CTV original Canadian drama series currently in pre-production has been picked up by CBS for broadcast later this year in the United States. Flashpoint (working title, a.k.a. Sniper) is a new police drama about an elite, big city Strategic Response Unit (SRU). CBS has picked up 13 episodes of the one-hour drama series, which was green-lit by CTV in December. When it premieres later this year, Flashpoint will become the first Canadian series since CTV's Due South in 1994 to air in network primetime in both Canada and the United States. Production begins in Toronto in April.
